Jensen Beach – Calling all Fun & Fabulous ladies! The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast is thrilled to announce the return of the much-loved Purse Party Luncheon and Silent Auction! The Purse Party Luncheon and Auction will be held Monday March 28, 2022 at the beautiful Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club in Palm City. The committee have worked diligently to gather new and gently loved purses and accessories from local businesses and individuals ranging from top name designers like; Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Dooney & Bourke, Gucci, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Cole Haan and Coach to name a few. To celebrate the return of the event the committee will also be selling raffle tickets to a brand-new Louis Vuitton Graceful Handbag and Credit Card Holder, purchase tickets online today. There will also be signature exclusive surprises reserved solely for event attendees not to be missed!

This tremendous collection will be showcased via online silent auction and live auction. The event’s MC, super star news anchor Ashleigh Walters with WPTV Channel 25 News, will welcome guests as they enjoy a delicious lunch, signature cocktail and live auction. Doors open at 11 and tickets are still available! Proceeds from this event will fund the Museum’s Educational Community Outreach Programs and Scholarship Fund. This program allows local teachers to enhance their current curriculum using a hands-on approach to learning, FREE! Yes, the traveling Mobile Museum visits classrooms throughout the Treasure Coast, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Okeechobee and Palm Beach Counties. The Marti Huizenga Scholarship program allows access to camp enrollment to low income and at-risk youth.

To date, over 18,000 students have benefited from the generosity of past Purse Party Attendees! Help bring more fun and playfulness into the classroom this coming school year!

Donations of new and gently loved purses, sunglasses, jewelry and gift cards for the Purse Party are welcome and may be dropped off to the Children’s Museum on or before March 22st.
